Getting Started

This is an experiment, as are most things that come to be parts of PDLA.  We're trying to reduce the stress of some of our Year 2 teams.  Some feel overwhelmed by job demands and too pressed for time to be able to complete the assigned Culture Audit meaningfully and effectively by the next session.  So, we're developing options for them:

• modify assignment timeline--do part of audit now, part at the end or beginning of school year--so that they're poised to address culture-change in Year 3 to support attaining their student and professional learning goals
• convert some aspects of the audit from in-person meetings to digital interaction using such tools as Wordle and Wallwisher

The latter allows the posting of photos and videos, artifacts of the audit, but their source must be from a http:// url.  Thus, our starting this blog:  we are posting some PDLA photos here that can subsequently be re-posted on the Wallwisher example, which we will share with Year 2 teams.
